The bed base needs reinforcing to level & stop squeaking. Could not get the tv to work & stove was difficult. Otherwise OK

Hi Chris, Thanks for your feedback! We apologise about the bed. We have since changed the bed legs so there is no longer any squeaking. The TV and stove have been checked and they are both working fine. We have taken this feedback onboard and we have adjusted the online guest guide to make appliances instructions clearer. However, if issues still persist, we do have a team that are available 24/7 if you continue to have difficulties. V handy location, close to bus stops, the supermarket and the beach. The living room was bright and inviting and the kitchen was snazzy and well equipped. The bathroom was clean and bright with a great shower, and the laundry setup was spot on! But the beds were a strange contrast to the attention paid to the rest of the house. The mattresses were comfortable, but the double was two singles stuck together, and it was ridiculously noisy due to badly fitted feet. Getting in and out and even rolling over in the night caused squeaks and squeals that woke up the other person (and often the one next door). The two single beds were on wheels without locks. My mum sat up to read and the bed literally rolled across the room. We ended up putting her mattress on the floor instead (though she was comfy!). Communication was v professional, quick and helpful, and the rest of the flat was great quality, so the beds were a curveball here. This was a great place to stay, but the beds need attention.

It's great to know that our communication met your expectations as well. We sincerely apologise about the beds. We are working to get this issue completely resolved. The king beds have had the feet replaced so the squeaking is now gone. We are awaiting on some stoppers for the single bed legs which should solve the sliding issue! The unit is the 2nd in a fourplex, readily accessed by the map from the app. There is a single lane driveway that links the units, and ours had an adequate driveway for the Toyota RAV 4 that we drove. The interior of the residence is tidy, tastefully decorated, with functional furniture. There is one toilet in a room separated from the shower and vanity. The weather was cooler than we expected, but there is a wall-mounted heater/air conditioner, that provides sufficient heat for the common areas and small, portable space heaters for each bedroom. (We employed one of those for one night). Stefan, the property host, promptly replied through the app to any of our questions, though we did not meet him in person. Overall we were pleased with the residence and feel that the value was well in line with the cost, and far superior to an expensive hotel.

The house was a great place to stay - lots of natural light, clean, spacious, really comfortable beds. The foot steps from upstairs were fine but initially disconcerting because it sounded like they were coming from within the unit. Even so, I'd certainly stay here again.

Stefan’s place is beautiful and great location. Few teething issues with being new to Airbnb but all worked out.
