The apartment was in an excellent location and in great condition. Clean and with lots of amenities in the kitchen. It's great value for Auckland and I enjoyed my time there. Picking up the key from a different location wasn't a challenge, and the entry instructions were clear -- which I appreciated. The building itself was lovely and felt very secure. The only downside to this apartment is trying to communicate with the group that runs this. They're not mean, but messaging is challenging. There are multiple people responding to the account, and I'm convinced there's also a bot. Getting an answer to a single question took two days, because no one seemed capable of reading the last few messages in the chain or even all of a single message. If they can sort out the communication, I would be more than happy to stay there again.

Lovely stay. Amazing location, and great apartment. Clean and as advertised. Checkin and check out was easy and only a short walk to the actual accomodation. Felt very comfortable there and enjoyed our stay. Very responsive to any messages.

Unfortunately we were left with the wrong key and therefore could not get in to our accommodation at 2am in the morning. After a call with the host we had no resolution after a 20 minute call other than go and find other accommodation which is always an unknown at 3am in the morning and travelling from an international destination. We were told that we would be reimbursed with the price of the accommodation we had to find but they only offered us $151 compared to the $399 accommodation we got and sent receipts for. We were set up with a new key in the morning but we decided against staying at Stefan’s accommodation as while we were on the phone we were told to try two other rooms with the incorrect key and we could access both, so we felt uneasy staying at the accommodation with the possibility of someone being able to enter our room. Airbnb was extremely helpful in the end to be reimbursed with the remaining money as we had no replies from Stefan.

The place was slightly older than advertised in the photos. The hallway had a weird smell and it was very loud at night but the host provided earplugs. The host was very responsive but it was sometimes confusing because many different people at the company would respond to my messages without having read previous messages, so I found that I had to reiterate often. Other than that, it was a pretty good experience and I would rent from this host again.

The Airbnb is very conveniently located in the heart of the city however, the windows and not appropriately glazed which means it's very noisy, especially at night. There were no instructions in the house regarding turning on the oven/stove and it took us a while to find the switch hidden behind appliances. The middle seat of the couch has lost its shape and very uncomfortable to sit on. The place was clean though with clean toilets. Also this Airbnb is being managed by a separate company that have their own list of terms and conditions that you have to sign prior to check in. Some of these I didn't necessarily agree with however I had no choice as I got the link close to check in and no other suitable options were available. Their account also got hacked and I got a message from them to make additional payment. I raised that with Airbnb however Airbnb have not taken any action yet that I am aware of.

If you are looking for the perfect central location to base your self while visiting T?maki Makaurau then this is it. Easy walking distance to everything one would need for a central city stay close to Britomart viaduct etc. As with all City stays there is always the noise side. If you are a light sleeper pack some ear plugs and a eye mask :)

Nicely located on Queen Street. Right beside New World supermarket. 5 minutes Walk to Train and Ferry . Lots of places to eat too. Room have WiFi, Washing machine, Fridge etc.. whatever a home needs. Good security system too. So outsiders can't get in . Almost everything was great. But one down side was because of the location it very noisy at night. Traffic noises and people party at the nearby clubs . So it's quite hard to fall asleep. Some of the power outlet on the walls were not working too. Hopefully the host will fix them.

The location is great, right near the ferry terminal which was perfect for our Waiheke Island tour. Had to pick up the apartment key from a seperate office with Amazing Race style instructions. The apartment building itself is quite old, small bathroom with noisy ventilation you can not control and the furnishings need updating or replacing. Linens and towels were nice and new and the washer/dryer was much appreciated!

Great location but access was hard via a 15 minute loading bay, with random access. Nearest parking was expensive at $65 per night in a parking building. Apartment was cute. Warned about stairs but very narrow and therefore suitcases stayed downstairs which was impractical. As it was hot , fan upstairs broken which was disappointing, plus power socket loose on wall in downstairs bedroom which was a safety hazard. A spring clean of soft furnishings and rugs would be suggested. Couch was very uncomfortable with springs poking through, suggest time to update.

I just had an amazing stay at this Airbnb as a returning visitor. The host was super responsive and lovely, making me feel right at home. Great location and excellent communication. So easy to follow instructions. The interior looks great - so good to stay somewhere with character. Great food and wine just moments away. I loved staying here and would again - secure for someone travelling alone, yet within moments of the vibrancy of Auckland. Only dropped a star because I thinkthe interior needs a bit of a once over - sofa is old and lumpy, kitchen needs a bottle opener and ice tray, maybe a lick of paint on the stairway wall too. Would’ve loved a welcome book too - best coffee, walks etc. But on the whole this place was fab.

The key collection is at another location nearby which was not too much of a hassle. Apartment was very clean and comfortable and came with all the basic amenities. Some street noise is to be expected as it’s on the 2nd floor, but it didn’t really affect me. I love that it’s centrally located, right in the heart of Queen St and within walking distance to supermarkets, attractions, and plenty of food and cafe options! Perfect for 2 pax, would love to stay here again.

Was a great place to stay for a couple of days. Cleaning wasn't done when we arrived but we waited inside for about 10mins for them to finish and we got the place to ourselves. For the single bed, wouldn't recommend it for anyone tall, but if it's for someone smaller it is perfectly fine. A bit loud at times through the night so if you're a light sleeper recommend bringing earplugs, but that's to be expected when on a main road in the city anyway. One last thing to note, the sofa isn't very comfortable so wouldn't recommend using it to sleep on if you had 3 single people using this Airbnb. Not trying to paint these as negatives, more just observations. Overall our stay was great and we wouldn't hesitate to come back as it was great value for money. With only 2 of us staying (so room for one more if there was a couple and a single staying) it worked out cheaper than it would be to share a twin hotel room and we both got our own private spaces.

Beware since you’re in a pretty busy area, it will be loud at night with the windows opened. Clean and tidy place to stay, comfy beds and very clear instructions. If you are an international traveler, DO NOT STAY HERE! There was a slew of unexpected hoops to jump through, potential fees for things that were simply included by other hosts, and a manipulation of the AirBnb system that feels like it ruins the whole point of individually hosted homestays. To start, we were not given check-in details until we GAVE THEM PHOTOGRAPHS OF OUR PASSPORTS! This felt like a huge invasion of privacy. They then both have the keys off-property by a 10 minute walk as well as default a late check-in (3PM) so they can try to charge for earlier key pickup. When we showed up at 3, the keys weren't even there! We had to wait 5 minutes on a street corner with all our luggage for someone to drop them off. Once we arrived, it was a maze to get to the place and there were little instructions in the check-in. The couch and seat were stained with something, the stairs were dangerous and it is hot with little ventilation. Value your time and money and do not stay here!!

We spent 15 days with my family including 2 children (3 years and 6 months). The location was exceptional and the loft very functional. The apartment was clean and exactly as advertised. Small downside the noise pollution in the evening but being in the city center we expected it too. To do again!

Unfortunately we didn’t end up staying here because on arrival, the place was disgustingly dirty. We arrived on 30 December intending to stay for new years but the house was so dirty that it was a health hazard for us to remain. We contacted Stefan the owner immediately (around 8pm) and had not received any response by midnight so we had to walk to a nearby hotel to stay instead. There were spills and stains on the couch, the toilet and shower had stains and scum all over them. There was hair on the beds. There was oil dripping off the oven. It was so hot (no air con) but we couldn’t use the fans because there was dust caked onto them. I’ve stayed in a lot of airbnbs, actually some of them Stefan’s other properties! And this is the only time I have been concerned for my health. We left and never ended up staying at the property, but Stefan refused our refund request and took the whole amount of the money anyway. Greedy set up & a filthy house, would never recommend anyone stays here.

Malgres un début de séjour frustrant ( annulation de dernière minute de la livraison des clés et appartement sale à notre arrivée), l appartement est agréable à vivre. Il est idéalement situé car proche de tout, la rue est un peu bruyante donc si sensible au bruit c est pas le bon endroit. L appartement est bien équipé même s il mériterait que le mobilier soit vérifié après chaque location car certains sont cassés. Et enfin l hôte est hyper réactif et lorsque notre fille est tombé malade il a su nous orienter très rapidement et ceci est très apprécié. En résumé des petits couacs au début et de manière général un bon séjour sur queen street.

Great location, couldn’t get any better! We didn’t find the noise to be an issue at all. The key pick up was a 10min walk away, wasn’t an issue. Host was very easy to communicate with and checking in to make sure everything was going well. Would definitely stay again!

Nice modern apartment in a very central location in the heart of the city. If you're not used to city noise it may not be for you, as it's a lively, noisy part of town on weekend evenings, but it had everything we wanted.

Good location but a bit noisy. Stefan and team were quick to respond when we had issues with the place and resolved them quickly. Would recommend this place to a group of younger people.

We didn’t end up staying, the building is not suitable for young family/kids - regularly visited by police dogs for drugs, which was not made clear at any point when making the booking.

As others had commented, it is in a great location. Weekend night could be kind of noisy downstairs due to the night life going on. It didn't affect my little one, that he slept through it. Typically, the activities would stop around 2am. Imo, kitchen was kind of well equipped as well as the things provided. Was a comfortable stay i would say. And would recommend it.

Loft très mignon et surtout hyper bien placé au cœur d'Auckland CBD. Le prix est vraiment intéressant. Nous étions 3 adultes et un enfant. C'était un peu étroit pour 4, surtout pour manger car il n'y a que deux chaises hautes. Mais on le savait. Les points négatifs pour moi sont que L'appartement est assez propre mais il y avait beaucoup de poussière sous les lits. Il faut sortir les poubelles dans la ruelle derrière l'immeuble et on a su seulement le dernier jour comment le faire facilement grâce à un habitant. Donc manque de précision à ce sujet. Et enfin il n'y avait pas de savon lessive alors que l'annonce disait qu'il y en aurait. Cependant, ce logement reste vraiment peu cher et est tellement bien situé et sécurisé qu'il en vaut la peine !

Can't really cook food bathroom quite small and couldn't sleep at all sometimes because of the location. Do not recommend if you have light sleep or need to cook everyday

Cosy little space. As others have pointed out, it's pretty noisy on a weekend night but if you want the vibe that's what you get. great spot and central to everything the CBD has to offer.

Lovely apartment so close to the new shopping centre Commercial Bay - and of course the train station and Britomart. Loved the small hotel touches included here too. Just note that Friday and Saturday nights can be quite loud with buskers and party people, but it didn’t bother my 7m baby!

Excellent location as it is in the heart of Queens Street, spacious, the bed is good, kitchen is equipped with most of the items that you would need for a long stay except for some minor stuff. However, the apartment was not really clean when I arrived and at night you will hear lots of noise from the outside as it is on a low level and in a heart of a main street.

Great place to stay close to everything shops / transport etc. Quite noisy in the evening as it is right in town so it is to be expected. All and all lovely place to stay would recommend to anyone.

Be aware the key collection process is easier said than done unless you’d like to part with an extra $50, and if you’re allergic to dust then be prepared with meds etc Aside from these things the place was quite comfortable and good value

Great location, plenty of practical and thoughtful additions, i.e a fan, lots of coat hangers, plenty of cutlery, ice cubes, wooden bread boards etc... A room with a view, and spotlessly clean.

Wouldn’t recommend. Had a not so lovely experience with the third party that manages the flat. Doesn’t have a way to lock the door from the staff so anyone can walk in - which is what happened to me, while I was changing ?. So personally feel it’s unsafe . Especially if you’re traveling alone. Felt the sofa was low key dirty, and the stairs are narrow and steep so a bit irritating if you wake up to go to the bathroom at night. the flat is decorated cutely, and the location is superb (but very close to the street so it’s noisy at night). Honestly, the customer service was so heinous in dealing with someone walking into the flat while was there, that I just can’t bring myself to recommend anyone to stay here.

Great location, apartment was beautiful especially when being in an old heritage building. Easy access to supermarket and eateries. If you like something different, this is the apartment. We did not do much cooking, so didn't utilise the stove/ oven much, however the apartment was well equipped. The host was friendly and we ashtrays had a quick response. Parking may be an issue as there's not many off street parking.

Absolutely loved the apartment was spotless and clean, couldn't fault anything. Beds were so comfy and made beautiful. Excellent location so close to everything and being at the bottom meant we could easily walk to Spark Arena. Was noisy from being on Queens but nothing we couldn't sleep through. My 2 teenage daughters loved it. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others....

The location is very convenient. Access to supermarket in within walking distance. Given it’s at the central of the city, you can walk to cafe or restaurant and enjoy the night life.

Loved this place - incredible location to be in with cafes and restaurants around the corner, very cosy and warm apartment and photos were very accurate. Check in process was simple, good security in the building and nice furnishings and decor. Recommend highly!
