Fantastic location, easily walkable to the harbour, restaurants and bars. Having the balcony was a bonus with its table and chairs..a great place to relax outside whilst looking onto the city. A very responsive host. Thank you!

Very disappointed in the host was required to leave a deposit for the apartment then charged for alleged strange marks on a mirror that were in the apartment before we moved in and was most likely cleaning products used by cleaners DO NOT STAY WITH HOST HE WILL MAKE AN EXCUSE TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!!

Hi Cosmo, the security deposit is displayed on the listing when booking however we only charge this for guests that have no previous reviews. We did hold on to the security deposit while we investigated the damage but the security deposit was then released to you in full.

Definitely worth every penny. Really helpful and responsive team. Cleaning cost is quite expensive but it’s cleaned professionally which takes away from the guilt of leaving a couple things out of place as airbnb accommodation usually does compared to hotel accommodation. This is a nice apartment, lovely view, good size to stay with kids, and responsive hosts, quick to respond. Unfortunately the apartment had a flea infestation throughout. I recieved over 300 bites, suffered a major allergic reaction and ended up in ED seeking emergency care. My husband spent hours in the night finding and killing fleas in the bedding. The hosts offered to move us to another, more expensive apartment if we paid the difference. Instead we opted to cancel our holiday (the hospital trip kinda killed the vibe tbh) and did get refunded for the night we didn't stay. A fumigation is needed here!! Basically I paid $500 to drive to Auckland, get chewed on in an infested apartment for 30 hours then drive home again via the hospital. Never Air BnBing again! Fleas aside, the place is great, has everything you need and is warm and cozy and in a great location.

In particular, one of the best beds and showers I've ever experienced in an Airbnb, likely on account that the building seems to have been converted from a hotel (three stars, I suspect) to apartments some time ago. Overall, very responsive and accommodating communication with the host company, except when it came to confirming a late checkout time. Nevertheless, not a deal breaker by any means. Easily one of the better values for a week's stay in Auckland's Central Business District. Recommended -

As advertised, clean and central, clear communication. You need to walk up the street to get the key, but there were several emails and reminders, plus signs once there, plus Stefan was quick to respond. Piece of cake. Thanks!

Room is exactly as the photos show. Fantastic location and nice and roomy. Good amenities close by and $15 night parking directly opposite the building. Will stay again. Be aware there is a small walk to get the key so Uber to the key location as it is up hill. You don’t want to walk you bags there and back

The check-in experience is not the smoothest after traveling 30 hours you have to go to another building to pick up the keys. The apartment is nice and well-located. The AC was extremely dirty, and the bedframe was also in a strange condition.

Great location for ducking down to the wharf and things. Loads of cafes around and you can leave luggage at the minimart through a luggage storage website.

We had an amazing stay at Stefan’s place. It is really close to everything in Auckland city. Street Parking wasn’t much of a hassle most days. Beds are super comfortable. Nice views of Auckland skyline. I would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful stay for someone who wants to be close to shops and bars. Great view & lovely beds. Only thing to be aware of is how clean the place is. Unfortunately we arrived to stains on blankets etc.

It is a beautiful place to stay and we had an amazing time. It was less driving around as everything was in walking distance. I would definitely go and stay there again.

This was a wonderful rental! Everything as described. Very roomy, comfortable living quarter for a family. Even though it was just my daughter and I, it was nice to have two bedrooms with big beds. Location of this was perfect, everything within 10 to 15 minutes walk. Train, bus and ferry stations so close too. So many good restaurants close by that we could walk to easily. Glad we didn’t rent a car! The Countdown grocery store is two blocks away so made it very convenience to grab some groceries. The fridge was plenty room for two of us. All the utensils, dishes and cooking wares were available. A few bags of tea & coffee were there. Just wished there were some more basic condiments in apartment. We bought some and also left a bunch behind but they probably will get thrown away ( Covid? ) It was extra nice to have washer/dryer in apartment to do laundry. Plenty of towels and toilet paper for us. The fire alarm did go off several times ( false alarms) but Stefan was quick to respond when I tried reaching out to him. It was pretty quiet at apartment and great view. Definitely recommend this place! Thank you for letting us stay and we had a wonderful time in Auckland!

The property was close toe everything we needed and it was as described. It was a nice and tidy and the host was fast with replying. We did have a few issues with cleanliness such as utensils being dirty or needing replacing, the dishwasher needed to be clean and there was a smell coming from one of the kitchen cupboards and nail clippings for other guest in the ashtray which was concerning because we were unsure what else was actually clean. These issues can be easily fixed Because other then that it was a great stay in a great location.

Overall, top marks!!! This is very close to central Auckland, it was great to be able to wander around Britomart and the Viaduct and then just walk home. Clean, bright and comfortable. Awesome hot powerful shower. We did find the ventilation system noisy but not sure what can be done about this!? However my friend had earplugs and slept like a baby, while I didn’t… We had some confusion finding the correct lift to use for the room. (It is the second one ?.) But a call to the office was answered quickly and we soon worked it out. Excellent fast communication the whole time. Would recommend

It had a pretty view of city lights & outside was also nice and peaceful. Had everything we needed to cook, Countdown was also down the road which was extremely convenient for us. The apartment overall was very spacious too.

The location of the apartment is really good and about the only thing it has going for it - it isn’t as advertised both beds are damaged (torn and ripped) majority of the furniture has been changed and out of the 5 lamps shown on the images only 1 actually exists. There was also a fair bit of dust lying around and things like empty hoover boxes lying in the living room the light on the balcony didn’t work. And the extraction fan for the cooker is absolutely filthy. I would also suggest that the broken utensils in the kitchen also be thrown out rather than left Check out instructions are also sent after you have already checked out which isn’t very helpful to be honest

It was perfect for us, just stones throw away to all the places we wanted. All the cutlery and consumables were fully loaded and kept for us. Apartment was super clean. Reply to the messages was very quick. Will surely stay here when planning again. Thanks.

Really enjoyed our stay here, was nice a peaceful, heaps of space to move around. Everything needed to cook was in the kitchen. Better access/ entree point though Emily place. Overall be looking forward to book another stay.

Nice spacious apartment! Internet is really good, had no issues with both of us working. There’s a bit more wear and tear than the photos, had a couple of issues on check in which Stefan sorted for us immediately so overall good stay. Cleaning standard could be improved.

The apartment was amazing and clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Some things that needs improvement is: Check in process - We were given the wrong swipe card so we weren't able to check in at 3 as planned an our shopping was melting at the back while waiting. If you check in to this room go through Emily Pl, instead of Anzac Ave. You can access this room easier through Emily Pl and the parking is good and you will be able to keep an eye out on your vehicle if you want. Communication - The mobile number that I was given to call if I needed anything was not answering, we kept calling to check in and see what was happening with our check in but no answer. Cleanness - There was a used masked beside the side draw in one of the rooms. Health and safety - The bolts outside the balcony were loose and my husband tightened it. Overall, our stay was amazing, everything was in place and ready to be used!

The apartment is in a good location, very close to city center. Check in is complicated and uneasy. There is something by the window making noises all the time. It is not a pleasant stay overall.

Really good location, only a ten min walk to the viaduct. Stefan was very helpful and communicative. Rooms are a good size and beds were comfortable - with good pillows. Nice to have a balcony to sit and relax on. Would definitely stay again but our key card stopped working and had to pay $50 to get it fixed by the complex - a bit annoying as we had our dinner and had to eat it on the stairwell while we waited.

Place wasn't as clean as they said it would be, freezer didn't work neither did the majority of the lamps either. Had other let downs but won't go into that. I'd say it was an alright stay though lol.
