Lively and Stunning Auckland Central Apartment

Fantastic location, you do hear the road noise but i knew that going in and that key pickup 2 min walk away. Apartment was very tidy and clean. 2 sets of keys provided making it much easier if travelling with others. There is no air conditioning so i did find it quite stuffy in the apartment, there is a fan provided but i found it too noisy to sleep with. Good sized bathroom and good toiletries provided. At check in i did struggle getting key as the code was so long I kept typing it in wrong. You will need data/wifi to go through all check in instructions. After you have key, keep going through each page of info as only on last page are you given apartment number. I wouldve liked this in email earlier with address as its not on key either and initially i kept forgetting apartment and was hard to find this info. The dishwasher wasn't working & this wasn't fixed for the 5 nights I was there, also if you like coffee there isn't any facilities except 1 cup plunger which was disappointin

The place is very central in the city. At first I was hesitant because of the noise at night, but when you close the windows in the room they have good sound insulation. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Buses and metro are just a few meters from the apartment. I would definitely come back.

Additional cleaning fees paid still not refunded - from booking, to check-in, to check-out - it's been 2 months, and still waiting. Also, I've never had any Airbnb host accused me of causing any defects, this is the first time. These two incidents left such a terrible experience to the overall stay.

We had a great time at Stefan’s place! The location is right in the center of the city and has many bus lines that pickup nearby. There was a lot of construction going on outside and it could go on early in the morning and late at night which could get loud since we needed to open the windows for some air circulation. There were some small things that needed repair (the couch cushions were pretty lumpy, the WiFi network was not the one listed on the Airbnb checkin site) but nothing that would change the overall stay. Please also be aware (and Stefan says this in the checkin instructions) that you need to pick up the key from the office building about a 3 min walk from the apartment.

The accommodation couldn't be more centrally located. The nearest supermarket is across the street and everything you need is around. The accommodation offers the possibility to separate the bedroom with doors from the kitchen and living room, so you have enough privacy. The TV has everything you need these days. Communication was very good and we never waited more than an hour for an answer.

Die Unterkunft konnte gar nicht zentraler gelegen sein. Der nächste Supermarkt ist auf der anderen Straßenseite und alles Notwendige um Einen herum. Die Unterkunft bietet die Möglichkeit das Schlafzimmer mit Türen von der Küche und dem Wohnzimmer zu trennen, somit hat man genug Privatsphäre. Der Fernseher bietet alles was man heutzutage benötigt. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und man hat auf eine Antwort nie länger als eine Stunde gewartet.

Highly appreciated the optional airport pick up and drop off, made the experience smoother. The driver Geetha is really helpful and reliable. Great location and accurate representation of the apartment. Very bad road noise. Apartment needs sound proofing to reduce night time noise. Bed was uncomfortable. I left the accommodation early as I was unable to sleep with the city noise.

The apartment is very well located close to all amenities. On the other hand, we hear the noises of the road well because there is no double glazing but in general, it is quite quiet at night.

Awesome stay at this central city apartment. Yeah bit noisy but this is only to be expected in any central city location, and it doesn't get more central than this. Clean apartment and building, particularly inside the entrance, even smelt great! Would recommend to anyone (or two), who want to visit and be in the middle of everything, or a base for business travel.

This is in a great location downtown- easy to walk to restaurants and attractions. The space was clean and comfortable. There’s no air conditioning and you can’t open the windows, so it can get a bit hot during warm weather, but it’s manageable. The washing machine was broken while we were there, but the owners were very quick to respond and send someone to fix it, and they reimbursed us for when we went to the laundromat. Overall it’s a great place to stay!

Fantastic, central location and a very stylish apartment - would have preferred a more personal touch with communications though, as I ended up dealing with around five different people with lots of emails for just a two night stay. It's clear the place is run by a management company on behalf of the actual owner.

Clean , comfortable, good location , it’s in a heart of the city cos of that it’s noise for those who like relax and quite. The negative thing i face it was because Auckland my last destination and because of that I booked by Airbnb to have more space and wash machine but I was surprised the wash machine is broken and not working and they don’t let me know about that. Moreover because it was new year season the dry cleaners was closed and that makes me upset.

Incredibly noisy on Friday and Saturday nights - couldn't sleep until 3am each night!! Bed is very old and uncomfortable - every time you turn over it moves and it sinks in the middle. Glad it was only me in it but felt like it was an old second hand bed. Cleaning could be better.

Met host in front of apartment who gave us a quick tour and tips regarding the area in general. The location was quite optimal as it was a short walk to the space tower and about 10-15 minutes to the harbor. If you’re planning to do a Hobbiton trip then this location is also very close to the sky tower bus stop. The apartment was very clean and the host was very response. Would definitely come back if I had the chance!

优点：1. 地段非常好，楼下就有星巴克，早餐店等，附近餐饮店和购物店很多，走路去天空塔不到5分钟。 2. 房屋非常干净整洁，生活设施齐全。 3.房东和帮我们拿钥匙的小哥非常热情友善。 4. 公寓的安全系统很完善。 缺点：1.身处CBD，晚上会有点吵，睡眠不好的住客建议自备耳塞。 2. 洗衣机有一点脏。 3.客厅有一个窗帘坏了。 总结：住了三个晚上，总体评价非常好，只有一些无伤大雅的小瑕疵，如果下次还要去奥克兰的话应该还会订Stefan的房子的。

The apartment is located on a busy thoroughfare, but if you don’t mind the hustle and bustle of the city, it’s a great place to stay. Check in was smooth, but you will need a phone or wifi to message the check in person and get the keys. The apartment happily suits two people, was clean, and decently supplied with most things that you will need from day to day. In one direction it’s a 1 minute walk from the grocery store, so if you’re looking to do some home cooking this apartment is convenient for that. In the other direction it’s a 1 minute walk from Albert Park and some great coffee shops. All in all the location makes it easy to get anywhere in as short a time as possible.

Very central location - so so easy to get to everything. And a nicely appointed apartment as well! Some of my family chose more expensive accommodation down the street - comparing the two, I’m very satisfied with our choice!! Only issue is the city noise which others have referred to.

Stefan's place has an excellent location, has plenty of room, a great shower and is absolutely spotless. Communications and check-in were also very good, reliable and fast! As it was quite hot we did miss an airco, as the street noise makes it impossible to open the window at night. But for this price it is absolutely a great value!

Hello everyone! I stayed at Stefan's apartment for 1 month in October '18. Firstly, I have to say it's been my first Airbnb experience and I truly enjoyed it! The place was extremely cozy and it really felt as if I was home. It had everything you need for your everyday life: a kitchen with all the necessary resources, a living area with a sofa and a TV, and a bathroom with a washing machine. The bedroom had a comfortable bed. I had to work on my laptop a bit during my stay and found the table/chairs very convenient. The only thing I found a bit annoying was the outside noise during daytime. The building is located on one of the busiest Auckland crossroads so be prepared to hear some of the outside action. I haven't met Stefan personally, but we communicated via Airbnb a lot and he managed to help me with all the questions I had. Overall, the place is great and I'd definitely recommend it for both short and long-term stays.

I was the first guest at this location. By far hands-down the best place I have stayed in Auckland City. Very close to shops, restaurants, Starbucks (across the street), and the price is well worth it! It is newly renovated so I hope you decide to see this amazing place! Stefan is a great host, actually met with me since I was the first guest and we had a nice conversation. Would stay here again without a doubt! I want to stay here again, and will if I am in Auckland for work. 10/10 for everything!!
